Before you list your property for sale it is important to get as much market research as you can to ensure your list price is going to hit the market with confidence. We have added a few links to services with My Rpdata so that you can do thorough research and also order a valuation if required.

Estimate Valuation

The first one is a simple summary or Estimate Valuation that gives you an estimate value and a probable value range.  This report will also give you recent sales in your area.  If you use this report in conjunction with either realestate.com.au or domain.com.au and search for current property for sale in your area and price range you will get a good guide to a list price.  This is also a handy tool to show prospective purchasers, as it shows recent sales and also a map of your block with dimensions on most reports.

Desktop Valuation Report

The next report is a more comprehensive Desktop Valuation Report this report will be prepared by an API Certified Practising Valuer with knowledge of the local area, so basically a registered valuer will do the report remotely from their office.  The report will be compiled from up to date property data, plus their own local property knowledge; reports similar to these are used by financial institutions to gain value of properties.    (The desktop Valuation report is not currently available in Tasmania)
